Lot Description

An open face pocket watch by Elgin. Numbered 6430794. Signed keyless wind movement. White enamel dial with black Arabic numeral hour markers, ornately decorated rolled gold case.46mm. Together with a silver key wind open face pocket watch.

  • <li> Movement is not currently functioning.
  • <li> Movement has tarnishing and scratching surface and to the gears, balance needs attention, case screws tarnished with the upper right case screw missing and the lower left case screw head is partially broken, regulator currently bent over the edge of the balance cock.
  • <li> Dial enamel has tarnishing spots, some fading on the numerals and significant chipping at the edge by eight o'clock.
  • <li> Hands have a slight bend downwards and chipping.
  • <li> Glass has scratching and chipping due to the age of the watch.
  • <li> Case has scratching due to age.
  • <li> Bezel has scratching from age.
  • <li> Case back has wear from age.
  • <li> Crown currently functions, bow has tarnishing and scratching due to age. <p>

Silver Key Wind Pocket Watch

  • <li>  Movement does not currently function.
  • <li> Movement in need of attention, tarnishing & scratching across surface due to age.
  • <li> Dial is damaged with heavy tarnish and missing "X" numeral.
  • <li> Both hands are damaged and the hour hand significantly bent.
  • <li> Glass is entirely absent.
  • <li> Case is tarnished and scratched due to age. Bezel is tarnished, dented and scratched.
  • <li> Case back tarnished and scratched, bow is tarnished and scratched. <p>
