Lot Description

A composite pair of gold cufflinks. Each designed as a late Victorian 18ct gold foliate engraved oval panel, to the early 20th century 9ct gold similarly engraved oval-shape back and vari-link connecting chain. Hallmarks for Chester, 1898 and 1909. Length of cufflink face 1.7cms. Total weight 4.7gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches in keeping with general wear. The fronts and backs have been put together at a later date. At least one chain is not original to either pair, with one faceted belcher-link chain and one curb-link. The foliate engraving is different but similar in design.
