A selection of late Victorian and later gem-set brooches. To include a late Victorian gold red paste and diamond point brooch, an early 20th century 15ct gold cultured pearl bar brooch, together with three further brooches. One with hallmarks for Chester, partially rubbed. Lengths 5.9 to 4cms. Total weight 12.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Possible replacement pins/fittings. Evidence of repair to the first, with solder visible to the front. Significant dents/scratches to the reverse. Cultured pearl and pastes are possible replacements. Two brooches have evidence of alteration/repair, with possible later added parts. One split pearl deficient. Red and blue pastes in fair to poor condition with significant abrasion/nibbles. Split pearls in fair condition with some abrasion. Cultured pearl creamy colour, fair skin with surface blemishes and glue residue. One amethyst deep purple, one pale purple, fairly good clarity with typical inclusions, good condition with minor abrasion/nibbles. One stamped 15ct. Two stamped 9ct. One with hallmarks rubbed.
