A late 19th century gold gem-set ring. The red paste and seed pearl marquise-shape panel, to the bifurcated shoulders and plain band. Weight 2.4gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches, dents and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The red pastes have abrasion in keeping with general wear. The seed pearls are discoloured due to age. Seed pearls untested for natural origin. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
