A late 19th century lacquered brass monocular microscope, Ross 'Eclipse', London 6113, the main tube with rack and pinion coarse focusing, two eye pieces and two objectives, the stem with fine adjustment, over oblong stage, pivoting on a circular base, engraved 'ROSS ECLIPSE LONDON 6113', 10.5" (26.5cm) high, in fitted mahogany box with label 'Millikin & Lawly, 165 Strand London', 11.5" (29cm) excluding carry handle.
