A 20th century brass and black lacquered monocular microscope, E. Leitz Wetzlar 296513, the main tube with rack and pinion coarse focusing, ten objectives, five eyepieces (some in sliding boxes) on an oblong stage with two-way rack and pinion focusing, on black lacquered Y-shaped base, in mahogany box 15.5" (39cm) high excluding handle, sold with a booklet 'Leitz Microscopes for 125 Years'.
