Lot Description

An early 20th century inlaid walnut cigar box and cigarette box, the hinged projecting central section with brass carry handle enclosing a matched-striker, match well and cigar cutter, flanked by side opening lidded compartments with brass detail 'Cigars' and 'Cigarettes' each within bat's wing spandrels, the underside each with ashtray, the body with metal strapwork, 12" x 6" x 4" high excluding handle (30.5cm x 15cm x 10cm).
