A pair of mid 19th century portrait on ivory. Probably Spanish, depicting a lady and gentleman respectively, he in white high-collar shirt, white bow tie and waistcoat beneath blue jacket, she in blue dress with corset, wearing a triple string of pearls and holding a fan, one with ivory sheet backing initialled R.G.P. and dated '29 Junio 1843' in hair script, 3.4" x 2.6" (8.5cm x 6.5cm), with good associated rosewood frames.

Condition Report
Miniatures and glass are too small for frames. Some edge losses to ivory sheets. Water stain to lower left hand corner of female portrait. Both to reglaze and reassemble.
