A late 19th century French ebonised clock. The 6-inch cellular Arabic dial with blue Roman numerals, the two-train movement stamped 'H.P.& Co. 55427', striking on a coiled gong, the case with brass urn finials over arched roof, the convex-glazed bezel between cast terms on scroll apron and toupie feet, 17.25", (43.5cm) high.

Condition Report
Staining to some numerals. Movement appears sound but has a single spare hole to backplate. Has pendulum and winder. Case has tight cracking to one side and to rear, plus general spots, some verdigris, and minor loss to rear door.
