Lot Description

Three items of Grainger Worcester porcelain. Comprising a spherical vase with pierced gilt collar having a 'jewelled' band, the shoulders applied with gilt serpents, the body decorated in shallow relief with gilt butterflies and foliage on a mazarine blue ground, puce painted mark 1/1013 and green printed mark to base, 4.1", (10.5cm) high; a pate-sur-pate oval tray with similar decoration, impressed mark, 10.6", (27cm) wide, and a matching jar with cover, the latter with puce painted mark 1/644 and puce printed mark to underside of cover, 3", (7.5cm( high, (3).
