Lot Description
An unusual 19th century Biedermeier beech-framed wing armchair. The humped padded back between conforming wings, the fixed seat between open arms on square tapering front legs, the whole upholstered in pale gold silk with matching brocade, 50.5", (128cm) high. Together with a pair of Biedermeier dining chairs, mid 19th century, each with plain toprail and carved midrail, the fixed upholstered seat on sabre front legs.

Condition Report
Frame has some minor damage along its edges, also has some scratches, indentations and marks. The visible timber to the sides of the 'wings' have some splits/cracks in them. Re-upholstered material is edged with a braided band, this may be concealing previous tack holes. Material has wear and some dirty marks.
