A good French provincial walnut armoire, late 18th century, the humped frieze with central carved basket of flowers between flowering plants, over a pair of arched panelled doors with pierced steel escutcheons between tubular steel rods, enclosing a printed fabric lined interior with three adjustable shelves, the wavy apron with central urn between flowering plants, on cabriole legs with scroll terminals and hoof feet. 52" x 23.5" x 97", (132cm x 60cm x 246.5cm).
