Lot Description

An early 20th century 18ct gold ruby and diamond horseshoe ring. The horseshoe set with alternating old-cut diamonds and circular-shape rubies, to the bifurcated shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1903. Weight 3.1gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The rubies are well matched.
