A pair of late 19th century gold foil-back garnet ear pendants. Each designed as a foil-back garnet drop, suspended in a similarly-set pear-shape surround with fringe and surmount. Length 7.7cms. Weight 13.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. The foil-back garnets are well matched with a purplish-red hue and strong saturation. There are typical inclusions easily visible with the unaided eye and abrasions, nicks and scratches. With later replacement hook fittings suitable for pierced ears.
