Lot Description
A mid 19th century gold foil-back topaz cross pendant. Designed as an oval-shape foil-back cluster, with similarly-set trefoil terminations, suspended from a later box-link chain. Length of pendant 7.9cms. Length of chain 63cms. Total weight 25.5gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good to fair overall condition with scratches in keeping with general wear. Pendant with small discolouration to reverse. Possible alterations from a different item of jewellery. Length of pendant includes surmount loop, loop with slight dents. Length of cross 6.2cms. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. Topaz are foil backed. Deterioration to foil backing. Topaz appear near colourless with most of the slightly orangey pink hue coming from the backing. Chain stamped 10k.
