VAN CLEEF & ARPELS - a diamond and enamel insect brooch. The green enamel stylised ladybird, with single-cut diamond accents, to the textured head and back. Maker's marks for VCA. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. French assay marks. Length 2.4cms. Weight 7.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Evidence of repair to the enamel. Enamel in good condition with minor abrasion and nibbles. One side of the double pin bent very slightly downwards. Diamonds bright and well matched. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Mostly with minor inclusions visible under magnification, one with large inclusions visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion. French assay marks to the reverse of the brooch and to the pin. Reverse hand engraved VCA B4667. Stamped 750.
