An early 20th century platinum and 15ct gold ruby and diamond brooch. Designed as a tapered bar, set with square-shape rubies, to the graduated old and circular-cut diamond terminals. Estimated total diamond weight 0.85ct. Length 7.3cms. Weight 5.6gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. Some possible replacement stones. Rubies well matched. Pinkish-red, moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Rubies in good condition with some abrasion and nicks.
