An 18ct gold ruby and diamond ring. The circular-shape ruby half-collet to the brilliant-cut diamond pave shoulders and tapered band. Accompanied by report number 04892, from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory, dated 25th November 2011, stating that the ruby is of natural origin with evidence of moderate heat treatment. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 7.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The ruby is a vivid pinkish red with strong saturation, and fairly good clarity showing typical inclusions. There are abrasions and scratches all over visible with magnification. Please refer to the report for further information. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Ring size M 1/2. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma.
