A Burma ruby and diamond ring. Designed as a circular-shape Burma ruby, weighting 1.77cts, within an old-cut surround and brilliant-cut diamond, to the similarly-cut diamond sides. Accompanied by report number 09333, from The Gem&Pearl Laboratory, dated 28th January 2014, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin with no evidence of heat treatment. Principal diamond estimated weight approximately 2.30-2.40cts, colour J-K, clarity P2-P3. Weight 11.5gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The ruby is a slightly cloudy pinkish-red showing typical inclusions, with abrasion and blemishes.
