A late 19th century gold gem-set crescent brooch. The double row scalloped crescent, set with single-cut diamonds, circular-shape sapphires and split pearls, to the split pearl star. Length 2.9cms. Weight 6.6gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. Some discolouration, particularly to the reverse and gallery. Some wear to the gilt surface. Sapphires blue, moderate colour saturation, vary slightly in hue. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Sapphires in good condition with minor abrasion and nibbles.
