An early 20th century 15ct gold gem-set moth brooch. The cultured pearl body and circular-shape ruby eyes, to the split pearl wings and replacement near-period plain bar. Length 7.8cms. Weight 6.9gms.

The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Cultured pearl body likely replacement. Possible replacement gems. Probable replacement bar brooch. Possibly re-gilt. Stamped 15ct to reverse of a wing. Slight deeper scratch to reverse of a wing. 'Jeweler's' scratch marks to bar.
