Lot Description
A late Victorian 14ct gold split pearl, garnet and ruby locket, circa 1880. Of oval-shape outline, the rectangular-shape garnet and circular-shape ruby cross panel, with split pearl drop spacers. Length 6.6cms. Weight 21.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Small areas of discolouration around the stone settings. Rubies are a pink-red hue with abrasion to the surface and typical inclusion. The garnet is a dark red hue with abrasion to the facet edges. The split pearls are a cream body colour with minor blemishes. The length includes the pendant hoop of 2cms.
