Lot Description
A pair of late 19th century 18ct gold and silver turquoise earrings. Each designed as a diamond accent within a turquoise cabochon surround to the similarly-shaped turquoise quatrefoil and twist border. Diameter 2cms. Weight 7.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. The turquoise are a fairly well matched bright blue to greenish-blue. Some with whitish streaks and dark spots. Significant replacement turquoise. Some discoloured due to age. The diamonds are fairly bright, and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Stamped 18ct. With wire backs for pierced ears.
