Lot Description
A collection of four items of jade, emerald and aventurine quartz. To include a carved jadeite fish, two early 20th century continental emerald pendent components, with replacement paste bead surmounts, together with a circular aventurine quartz partially-drilled cabochon. First with tail deficient. Lengths 4.1 to 1.7cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Jadeite untested for natural colour origin. Tail has broken off the first. Jadeite mottled green, fair colour saturation. Emeralds yellowish-green, fair colour saturation. Large surface reaching inclusions and fractured areas, durability may be impaired. Pendent components possibly originally part of a larger piece of jewellery, some wear to the rope-twist decoration and some discolouration. Replacement paste beads and suspension loops. Aventurine quartz translucent to near opaque mottled green, typical inclusions, fair to good condition with some abrasion. Drill hole to the reverse.
