A citrine and emerald brooch. Of openwork design, the scattered vari-size oval-shape citrine and rectangular-shape emeralds, to the textured filigree strands and foliate-engraved late 19th century gold scrolling surround. Length 4.9cms. Weight 10.6gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Numerous later modifications from a late 19th century base. Noticeable colour zoning, minor abrasion. The emeralds are in closed back settings, possibly foil back. One of the emeralds has a small chip. Typical inclusions including surface reaching features.
