Lot Description
A cultured and split pearl and diamond necklace. The early 20th century gold cultured pearl, split pearl and old-cut diamond floral cluster, suspended from a split pearl and old-cut diamond surmount, to the later added gold plated belcher-link chain. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Length of pendant 4cms. Length of chain 41cms. Total weight 7.8gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The floral pendant has a replacement cultured pearl and some replacement split pearls. The floral pendant originated as a brooch and has been converted. The surmount is a marriage of early 20th century components that have been added to the pendant. The chain is a modern. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
