Lot Description
A cultured pearl pendant. Of openwork design, the cultured pearl geometric panel, suspended from a similarly-set triangular-shape surmount and early 20th century gold rope-twist chain. Length of pendant 4.2cms. Length of chain 40.5cms. Total weight 10.6gms. With fitted case.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Small areas of discolouration on the pendant. Chain has heavier discolouration, in keeping with age. Pendant surmount is not secure, so the 'snowflake' panel can be easily removed. The pearls are a creamy-white hue with slight grey/green overtones. Most of the cultured pearls are significantly blemished. Localised areas of nacre damage. The push-piece clasp is loose. Case possibly re-fitted.
