Lot Description
Two mid 20th century gem-set bar brooches. To include a kite-shape synthetic sapphire and seed pearl geometric bar brooch, together with a sapphire and vari-cut diamond openwork scrolling bar brooch. Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct. Lengths 6.4 and 7.1cms. Weight 13gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches in keeping with general wear. Diamond brooch with replacement back panel and fittings. Seed pearl pin replacement with discolouration at hinge. Possible replacement gems, some mounts appear slightly worn. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Seed pearls show jewellers cement to mount, some show slight discolouration. Sapphire and synthetic sapphire a slightly purplish blue hue. Minor abrasion.
