Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Brooch has been rhodium plated. Possible replacement pin. Reverse has screw thread holes where additional fittings would have originally been able to be attached. Diamonds fairly bright and well matched. Due to the nature of the rose-cut it is not possible to calculate a total rose-cut diamond weight. Based on the surface spread alone of the rose-cut diamonds, they appear to occupy the same surface space as diamonds with an estimated total weight of 1ct, however this estimated weight does not reflect the true weight of the diamonds in any way. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Clarity varies, generally minor inclusions visible under magnification, some with large inclusions and chips visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in fair condition with significant abrasion, nicks and chips.
