Lot Description
A half hunter pocket watch by J.W Benson. Hallmarked Birmingham 1926. Unsigned sixteen jewel keyless wind movement with club tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 9ct yellow gold case. 49mm. 95gms. Together 9ct gold curb link Albert chain with 9ct gold T-bar. 30cm. 31gms.

<li> Movement is currently functioning.
<li> Movement plates and wheels have light and medium scratching with occasional dinting present, light tarnishing is visible across the movement.
<li> Dial has light and medium scratching with dirt spots, some fading is present to numerals and lettering. Debris is present to the dial which would benefit from a clean and service.
<li> Hands have light and medium scratches, chipping and tarnishing.
<li> Glass has light marking to the centre with light and medium scratches and debris to the inside of the dial that would benefit from a clean and a service.
<li> Case has light and medium scratching, dinting and occasional nicks that are particularly present around the opening apertures.
<li> Crown is currently functioning.
<li> Pendant bow is in decent condition with light scratching consistent with wear. <p>
