Lot Description
An open face pocket watch by Lancashire Watch Co. Hallmarked Chester 1894. Unsigned key wind full plate going barrel movement with club tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Silver case. 51mm.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.
<li>Balance is in good condition with sufficient play. The condition shows discolouration and tarnishes clearly visible to the naked eye. There are also a few minor scratches visible under close inspection.
<li>Dial is in poor condition. There is a significant crack covering the radius of the dial. Around the subsidiary there are significant cracks where the paint has been removed. There is a hairline crack from the subsidiary to the centre of the dial and a more considerable crack from the subsidiary to the edge of the dial. Generally however the discolouration is visible to the naked eye.
<li>Hands show medium wear with clear discolouration and tarnishes visible under close inspection.
<li>Glass shows medium wear with considerable tarnishes clearly visible. Upon close inspection minor scratches are visible.
<li>Case shows medium wear with significant discolouration all around the watch. Upon close inspection minor scratches are visible .
<li>Case back shows medium wear including considerable discolouration and scratches clearly visible. There is one considerable tarnish clearly present on the outer case back and a few minor dents. The inner face of the case back shows considerable discolouration and a few minor scratches. The inner case back has clear faded scratches around it and significiant discolouration. The hinges have discolouration clearly visible and a few minor scratches under close inspection.
<li>Pendant bow shows medium wear. There is very clear significant discolouration and one considerable dent on the pendant bow. Upon close inspection there are a few minor scratches.<p>
