Lot Description

An open face eight day calendar pocket watch by Hebdomas. Import hallmarks for London 1919. Unsigned keyless wind eight day movement. White enamel dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, day and date subsidiary dials to four and eight, exposed balance to six. Silver metal case. 47mm.

<li>Movement is currently functioning.

<li>Movement shows medium wear with some clear tarnishes visible.

<li>Dial shows medium wear with some clear tarnishes near the day aperture and a fine dent near the end of the dial between the 2-3 hour markers. There are some lighter tarnishes by the date aperture.

<li>Hands appear in good condition with a few light marks visible under close inspection.

<li>Glass shows medium wear with some clear marks visible, unclear whether these will be washed off with a cloth. There are a few fine scratches visible under close inspection.

<li>Case sows medium wear with clear discolouration visible all around the case. However even under close inspection only a few minor dents and scratches were detected.

<li>The outer face of the case back shows light to medium wear with a clear tarnishes going across the bottom of the watch approximately between the 6-9 hour markers. There is also some slight scratches and dents visible, particularly towards the centre. The inner face of the case back shows medium wear with very clear rusting and discolouration visible all around the rim of the watch and some small dents where the 10-11 hour markers. The inner case back shows light wear with some light tarnishes and dents detected under close inspection.

<li>The hinge shows medium wear with obvious discolouration and some small scratches from general use visible.

<li>Pendant bow shows light to medium wear with many but light scratches visible under close inspection.<p>
