Lot Description

An open face pocket watch. Unsigned fifteen jewel keyless wind movement with club tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Stamped silver dial with poincon, white metal case. 50mm.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.

<li>Balance is in good condition with sufficient play There are a few scratches and tarnishes visible to the naked eye particularly to the left of the larger train wheel.  Upon close inspection there are clear scratches on the larger train wheel and some fine ones on the minor train wheel.

<li>Dial has a few light marks by the 4 and 7 o clock upon close inspection.

<li>Hands show signs of tarnishes and discolouration under close inspection.

<li>Glass shows light wear in dirt on the front. It is cleaner and in better condition at the back however upon close inspection no scratches were apparent.

<li>Case shows light wear with many fine scratches visible to the naked eye commensurate with general use. There are two or three clearer scratches around the 1 and 3 o clock.

<li>The case back is in relatively good condition with a few light scratches visible to the naked eye. There are several light scratches around the rim of the case back. The inner face shows considerable tarnishes and a few minor scratches visible to the naked eye. The inner case back shows considerable fine scratches visible, one or two of which are quite clear. There is a little tarnishing but nothing that wouldn't be expected from general use.  The hinges show clear discolouration and some fine scratches are visible under close inspection.

<li>Pendant bow shows very light discolouration and fine scratch marks under close inspection.<p>
