An open face pocket watch by Samuel May. Hallmarked London 1842. Signed key wind three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Silvered dial with decorated centre, Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 18ct gold case. 48mm. 75gms. With watch key.
