A late 19th century platinum and 18ct gold garnet and diamond ring. Of openwork design, the replacement pear-shape garnet, within an old-cut diamond scrolling surround, to the old-cut diamond shoulders and fleur-de-lys shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Weight 3.9gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized with minor pitting. The piece has been cleaned to a high polish. The garnet is a replacement. Significant alteration to the garnet surround. The diamonds appear mostly bright and moderately well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Some smaller diamonds significantly darker in colour. Varying inclusions, some surface reaching.
