An 18ct gold opal and diamond ring. The oval opal cabochon, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct. Hallmarks for London, 1979. Weight 5.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with minimal wear. Band misshapen. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The opal is a white body colour with good play-of-colour, predominately showing blues and green, with minor scratches and abrasion visible under magnification. Ring size K.
