An early 20th century 15ct gold sapphire, diamond and split pearl pendant. Of quatrefoil design, the old-cut diamond, circular-shape sapphire and split pearl openwork panel, suspending a cushion-shape sapphire, to the split pearl marquise-shape surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 0.55ct. Length 5cms. Weight 8gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Some surface wear and light scratches in keeping with age. Minor discolouration to the reverse. Evidence of repair to the chain links suspending the sapphire drop. Replacement pin. Sapphires blue, fairly well matched, moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Good condition with some abrasion and nibbles. Some possible replacement split pearls. Creamy colour with rose and greenish overtones, fairly well matched. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes. Minor to scattered and large inclusions, generally visible under magnification. Diamonds in fair to good condition, some with nicks and nibbles, some more significant nicks/chips.
