Lot Description
A turquoise and split pearl girandole brooch. The circular turquoise cabochons, within a split pearl foliate panel, suspending three pear-shape turquoise cabochon and split pearl foliate drops, to the similarly designed three-stone interval. Length 6.5cms. Weight 25.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Repair to the surmount to the reverse, soft solder. Pendant suspension loop deficient. Replacement catch and pin. Pin is slightly different in hue. Some possible replacement stones. Some turquoise possibly reconstituted. Turquoise pale blue, slightly mottled with some uneven colour patches. Gemstones in good condition with minor abrasion and scratches. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Split pearls creamy colour, rose and greenish overtones, Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes. Fairly good lustre.
