Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Surmount is a later addition. The individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate colour, clarity and weight assessment. The spread of the diamonds match an approximate total weight of 0.40ct. This is a guide only and not a reflection on the true carat weight. Many of the rose-cut diamonds appear very dark. The ruby is a deep red hue with abrasion to the facet edges and light scratches to the surface. Typical inclusions present with a central surface reaching fracture. Ring size Q. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies originating in Burma. Please be advised that inability of a purchaser to import any such item into the US or elsewhere will not constitute grounds for non-payment or cancellation of the sale.
