Lot Description
A 9ct gold diamond amethyst and cultured pearl necklace and ear stud set. The necklace designed as a amethyst, diamond and cultured pearl panel to the similarly designed spacers, together with a pair of amethyst single-stone ear-pendants. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 2000. Length of necklace 40cms. Weight 34.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The amethyst are well matched with fairly good clarity showing typical inclusions that do not affect the passage of light through the stone. The cultured pearls are a well matched white body colour with fairly good lustre showing pink overtones, having good skins. The ear pendants have fixed posts suitable for pierced ears.
