An early 19th century steel and gold seal. The oval-shape steel panel with crowned armourial, to the plain mount and scrolling foliate pedestal. Length 2.4cms. Total weight 9.2gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The crown suggests the armourial is for a French Count. The steel has been cleaned to a high finish. Generally pitted surface to steel. Small pierced hole to the centre of the mount.
