A late 19th century 18ct gold scent bottle. Designed as an alternating series of foliate embossed and plain diagonal lines, to the hinged lid, suspended from a fancy-link chain. Length 5.7cms. Weight 4.8gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. Significant wear on the neck of the bottle. The lid is articulated but does not close securely. All chain links have worn very thin on the connecting area. Repair work and replacement links have been added. Length of bottle 2.5cms.
