A pair of late Victorian Royal Worcester porcelain figures by James Hadley, modelled as a young lady and gentleman, she with bonnet and oval wicker basket at her right hip, he with wide-brimmed hat, holding aloft a wicker pannier, each standing against a tree stump on a naturalistic base, signed 'Hadley', puce printed marks with shape 1371, Rd No. 121929 (female) and 121930 (male), and date code for 1895, plus impressed marks to base, 8.5" and 9.75" (21.5cm and 24cm) high.
