Lot Description

A good 19th century salt-glazed stoneware pottery tyg, stamped 'G. SMITH BROWN STOUT LINCOLN' the cylindrical body decorated in relief with three vignettes, a huntsman with terrier, a coaching scene, and tavern scene with pipe smoker pouring ale onto the floor, between moulded strap handles each with simulated 'screw' terminals, 4.5" rim diameter x 5" high (11.5cm x 13cm).
