A pair of Oriental ivory figures.
Probably Chinese, the first modeled as a female with top-knot, holding a bunch of bamboo, wearing robes and seated upon a covered stool, 6”, (15cm) high, the second a gentleman of rank, perhaps the Emperor, holding a ceremonial staff, his cap with distinctive ‘wings’, same size, each on oval hardwood base with four feet, 7”, (18cm) high overall, together with seven ivory-coloured resin netsuke-style items, (9).
