Two similar 19th century Dutch brass and copper charcoal or 'doof' buckets, each having a domed brass cover with lion mask decoration and urn finial, one with copper star, each copper body of broadening cylindrical form embossed with foliage, one with two urns issuing tulips, the other with recumbent lions, with brass swing handle and three brass feet, 15.75" (40cm) high. One cover much plainer, hole to lions nose, one mount possibly missing, cracks to sheet brass. Further general wear, minor holes. Patch beneath base. Second has solder replair to cover, general bruising/creasing small patch beneath, bruising.
