A 19th century oval watercolour of a loggia
Probably in Italy, two figures beside the columns,
unsigned, 7.75" x 6.25", (19.5cm x 16cm),
in ebonised frame under glass.
Together with a late Victorian/Edwardian oval oil painting, depicting a classical style Italianate capriccio, with figure before a river and buildings, signed 'Wilkes', 4.5" x 3.25" (11.5cm x 8cm), within ribbon headed brass guilloche frame.
