A late 19th century mahogany cased mantel clock, the Aesthetic influenced case of pagoda form, the top surmounted by a gilt metal study of a shishi above similar studies of dragons, the front of the case with applied and pierced gilt metal panel depicting bamboo, the sides of the case with lacquered and inlaid decoration depicting insects, leaves and berries, 17.5" (44.5cm) high.
