Three Afghan rugs, the first Bukhara, the dark terracotta field with two rows of eight quartered guls interspersed with lozenges, within multiple geometric borders and chevron guard bands, 41" x 77" (104cm x 196cm); another Tekkeh Turkoman, with three 'elephant's foot' guls, 34" x 49" (86cm x 124cm); and a third, the cream field with pole medallion of six hooked lozenges, within foliate border and diagonal 'barber's pole' guard bands, 37" x 74" (94cm x 188cm). 1. Fringed ends trimmed and wearing slightly into border at both ends, some areas of slightly flat pile. 2. one corner slightly 'chewed'. 3. Some inconsistency of colour.
