Lot Description
A mid 20th century diamond brooch. Designed as three graduated circular-cut diamond collets, within an old-cut diamond undulating surround, to the scrolling terminals. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.75ct. Estimated total diamond weight of surround 1.60cts, I-J colour, VS2-SI clarity. Length 6.4cms. Weight 7.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Some of the smaller diamonds have light nibbles to the surface. One of the end diamonds in the collet is heavily chipped. Some of the chenier have become detached from the front panel.
